Permalog® -

Permanent Leak Detection System Permalog® is the first economically justifiable permanently installed system for detecting leaks in water distribution systems.

Permalog® loggers, deployed within a distribution area, automatically determine the presence of leaks and transmit this information to a receiver module, called a Patroller which may be hand-carried or vehicle-mounted. The area can be surveyed in a fraction of the time taken by traditional "stop tap bashing" (surveying using listening sticks).

No specialist labour is required. Permalog® enables water suppliers to reduce leakage to record low levels and to maintain these at low cost and with significantly improved customer service.
